Looks like Irene ate my post, so let’s try this again.
Episode 8 of the split season picks up with the Doctor and Co on the continued task to track down baby Melinda after she was abducted as a child at the end of Episode Seven and trained as we find out later to kill the doctor.
Unfortunately, instead of spreading this idea out over the entire rest of the season with the Doctor using several people as information gatherers, scouts and overall bad asses, Moffat decides to introduce Melody Pond as subtle fart in Church.
You must take the good with the bad, I suppose. Thankfully, this episode is nowhere near as bad as Torchwood’s run on Starz has been.

With TNT Falling Skies ending on a high note, not to mention getting picked up for a second season, I was going to post something about how it looked like science fiction shows were doing pretty good this season until SyFy announced last night that instead of picking up Eureka for 6 episodes for a 6th season, the upcoming 13 episode run would be it’s final season.
The Twitter Warehouse/Eureka/Stargate List served itself well even if I heard 8 hours later what happened.

Overall, it was a good ending for a two parter. People were saved, people died. Multiple Doctors with multiple voice overs.
Oh, and that ending. Yeah, about that. It’s nice to see villains are willing to go to any lengths to get what they want. That’s what makes them good villains.
